A large main home, 3400 square feet, with a guest casita-950 square feet. 2-car detached garage. All on four acres. The casita, Casita Ave Maria, has been a successful short-term rental since 2010. We can provide the financials for the short-term rental. Main house: Originally built in 1982, it has been remodeled in 2007, 2015, and currently the kitchen and hallway bath are being remodeled. A 1000-square foot 2-story addition was completed in 2015. The main living areas are all one level: Kitchen, dining, living room are all open. 2 bedrooms, 2 bathrooms, an office, a den/bar living area, a large storage closet off of the den. Off of the master bedroom-ensuite bathroom area--is a step down into the 1000-sqaure feet-two-story "West Wing" addition. There is another living area here with a wood-stove. Upstairs from this living area is what we all call The Castle. We are currently using it as an art-studio-dreaming, reading space. It can be an extra sleeping area for guests and/or an office. It does have a mini-kitchen upstairs-sink and two burner stove. 360 views as there are windows on every wall. We currently live in this, our home, and are building two new houses. Ideally we would like to close on this property no sooner than the end of January as the house we are moving into is not finished. There are five kivas and a woodstove in total between the two houses. There is an outdoor firepit at the big house and an outdoor fireplace at the casita. Wood-beamed and tongue and groove ceilings. Watch the moon rise, watch the sun rise and sun set from the castle- art studio-heaven! Pinons, junipers and sagebrush are the native plants that blanket the grounds and there are lots of TALL trees. Three outdoor living areas: a deck with a hot tub in N.E. courtyard with new flagstone patio with a built-in firepit facing the mountains and a new patio on the South-side facing the valley. The NorthEast courtyard has a huge fenced in area (fence is 6-ft. tall) The Northwest yard (where we park our camper) also has it's own patio and a huge fenced in area for pets and play. The third patio is off of the den/bar area. CASITA AVE MARIA-guest house: Casita Ave Maria showcases a radiused front wall that opens up the floor space and makes the large kiva fireplace a focal point. Knotty pine doors and tongue and groove ceiling with wood beams wrap their warmth around you. Our casita is private with a decorative block privacy wall-10 feet tall-with its own hot tub. HUGE patio on the South and Southwest side, a serpentine-paved patio edged with decorative block piers with lighting insets. A 6-person hot tub and grand, outdoor fireplace await your arrival and you can sit in the hot tub and marvel at the valley and canyon views. Interior, brick-paved flooring with RADIANT FLOOR HEATING warm every step you take in this charming space. Stainless steel appliances await your use. Large, stackable washer and dryer is in its own closet. The bedroom area is in the OPEN area of the entire casita but tucked away in the SouthWest side of the open space. Air-conditioning added July 2022. Spirit-soothing STEAM shower with bench with a glass door. We have a shared easement and a shared well with two other neighboring properties.
