Looking for one roommate to share spacious, brand new, two-story 3 bedroom, 3.5 bath sunny home in Carmel Valley. Environment is serene - quiet and clean. No children. House is south facing so it gets sun most of the day. Jaw dropping views of the village and mountains from all rooms. Extensive outdoor living with decks off of both stories - some covered, some sunny. Upstairs has big Weber BBQ hooked up to directly to gas, umbrella table and several lounge chairs for laying in sun. Downstairs outdoor living deck area is covered and has another table w/chairs, a fire table surrounded by super cushy outdoor chairs, and also a workout area with a treadmill, workout bench, dumbbell set and some workout/yoga mats. House also has fully furnished gourmet kitchen with center island and Thermador appliances that you would be welcome to use. It is stocked with Williams Sonoma or similar furnishing - appliances (coffee maker, toaster, waffle maker, blender etc), pots and pans and all dishes/glassware that you might need. Upstairs has beautiful wide plank oak flooring, downstairs has plush like new white carpeting. The room for rent is fully furnished w Tommy Bahama furniture. Bed is King bed with private bathroom (see photos) entrance right next to bedroom door. The bedroom also has own smart flat screen TV (w Netflix, Amazon etc). Room has huge picture window with stunning views of the mountains. There's also blackout drapes. Location: House is located on hill above Carmel Valley Village. It is within walking distance of the village (about 0.8 miles) and all of the wonderful restaurants and wine tasting the village has to offer. Bernardus Lodge is 5 minutes away and Carmel Valley Ranch is about 10 minutes. Carmel and Pebble Beach are about 15-20 minutes away and Monterey is about 25 minutes away. About me: I'm a bit of a perpetual student who used to be an Oceanographer, then on to law school. I've been dabbling in real estate these days with a fixer upper. So who knows, but I keep pretty busy. There won't be an agenda during your stay. If you want to come and go with hardly any interaction, that's completely fine. If you would like a more social experience, if my schedule allows, we can try to organize a house dinner, etc. The other bedroom is currently being rented to another easy going, clean, considerate professional for at least several months. Looking for clean, considerate and quiet renters. House is new and completely furnished. There are two cats and a dog that are outside during the day but come inside at night. So probably best if your aren't allergic to pets though we have had some renters who are (and are OK because everything is so clean). This is a quiet, country neighborhood. It isn't a party location, though sometimes we may decide to arrange house dinner. No illegal drugs, no smoking on property. It's a serene adult place w no kids. Rent is $1850/month and includes all basic utilities, but also wireless Internet and Xfinity Cable TV w HBO and DVR. It doesn't include phone. House has reverse water filtration system on well water, so super clean drinking water is available and there's no need to buy bottled water. $1850 Security Deposit Required.
