What the owner loves about this home
I love the large rooms and the original woodwork that has been taken care of though the years. The kitchen, dining room and living room all have unique light fixtures that you would not find in just any home. There are a ton of windows making the house full of light during the day. Every room and hallway has a door plus there are 3 sets of windowed french doors leading to the sunroom, side porch and living room. The new wall air conditioner (2 years old) keeps the entire home cooled and the heat, although baseboard is boiler steamed. This too is a newer unit as well as the roof is newer. My favorite place is the side enclosed porch. It's perfect to sit in and have coffee in the mornings, relax and listen to the birds. It's also nice to sit out during the evenings and hear the local bands play from down the block. Once you go back inside you don't hear a thing. The pass through window is also a great feature, especially when we had company. Bar stools or tall chairs can be placed here as well for additional seating. Although there is carpet in the living and dining rooms currently, underneath is the same refinished original hard wood flooring that can be seen throughout the remainder of the home. The front entrance currently has a temporary wheel chair ramp set up, but we will give the buyer the information for the company that installed it who will remove it at no cost should they not want it. The home is around 100 years old from our best estimate but has been maintained beautifully. You simply won't find another like it.
