Space, peace, quiet, nature, being on the west side of the river because you have the most sunshine during the day, especially in the winter. Elevated above the river has least risk of flooding. Beautiful moon rises above the hills on the other side of the river. Feeling of being rural, yet healthcare, Costco,, , Medford International Airport, I-5 Freeway, shopping, Starbucks , are all 20-21 miles away.
Every mile in every direction green, green and more green, and more rivers, lakes, are close by. Crater Lake National Park is less than 50 miles away.
Even when the Temps are hot, usually a cool breeze will blow up from off the river.
South western Oregon has the mildest four seasons in the whole USA.
My acre part of my land directly on the river is my own park with world class fishing at times. Covered gazebo overlooking river from above.
