We loved our home, it had everything we needed: 5 bedrooms, 3 full bathrooms, large kitchen and family room. We built a deck to enjoy the summertime. After the 1st year of ownership, we hired a local excavation expert to fully expand our backyard so our children had more room to run around and play. We also expanded our driveway, got rid of the ugly rock wall it came with and had a red stone wall built in its place. After our first child was born, we had our basement finished with carpet and sliding doors for storage to keep all our holiday decorations and toys. Years later we had a wall shelf built to allow space for a TV and gaming center. Many, many years of memories came out of that area. There is also a 2 car garage and plenty of parking. On the main floor, there is a full kitchen with plenty of space for a large family to eat comfortably. An adjoining family room with a fireplace and windows where you could put up curtains for privacy or rearrange the room so you can watch the kids play outside. As you walk in the front door, there's a warm, inviting living room to the right; a staircase to the upstairs and to the left is a large dining room with a nice view of the front porch where if you take a walk back outside or through the front door to see a gorgeous mountain landscape. Next to the kitchen is a tidy laundry room and across the hall that room has been a piano room, an office and a bedroom throughout the years. And finally a full bathroom with a small window to see who is in the driveway. Upstairs you will find 3 bedrooms to the right and the master bedroom to the left. The first room was originally our nursery and then became our son's room. The next bedroom was our daughters and the last room...which was also the 1st children's room belonged to our oldest daughter.
Next to that room is the 2nd full bathroom and next door is a large linen closet. Before I tell you about the master suite, there is a large attic, the length of the house with room to stand and a makeshift floor. The master bedroom or suite offers a larger size room with bathroom that has a walk in shower and full size tub. Next to the bathroom is the walk in closet. And finally, there is a room off the master bedroom that has been used as an office, a dance room (during the pandemic) and another storage room. That also has a partial closet that you can stand up in.
