am moving b/c I moved in to this apartment with someone and now live here alone. I would like to live somewhere with roommates. The apartment is located in East Flatbush, which is a working class neighborhood with dope Caribbean food and cheap grocery stores. The buses run up and down Church Ave every 5-10 minutes and the apt is a 10 minute walk from the 2 and 4 line. You can get to Crown heights in 20 minutes and Bushwick in 30. Flatbush (not east Flatbush) is super close as well and has health food stores and a couple coffee shops if that is something you're interested in. The lease states that I can legally sublet for the exact rent so we aren't breaking any rules here! The neighborhood is safe despite not being super gentrified. It's a first floor apartment but super safe and has retractable window guards (i.e. safe at night if you close them, but the windows let in the light if you open them during the day).
