We have neighborhood parties/events several times a year. Students in local schools do very well on standardized tests. About three miles from the ocean and very nice beaches. Nice biking/walking paths nearby. Very popular Pacific Athletic Club a block away. Weather is almost always great. Hot air balloons often float overhead riding the ocean breeze. Very good Neighborhood Watch program in effect. Many residents have opted to improve their homes rather than move. Location allows most commuters to miss most traffic - usually very little traffic going south, east or north in the morning and only light traffic returning to Carmel Valley in afternoon/evening. Plenty of parks with playgrounds, playing fields and basketball courts.
