Efficient home in fantastic neighborhood. Like a townhouse with shared wall, yet unlike a townhouse in every other way. NO HOA, front yard, back yard, two car garage, and privacy. The shared wall is solid cinder block and I often forget it is a shared wall.
This home has a flat roof. The roof is 60 mil TPO, with 1/4 inch GP DensDeck underneath. It was completed in late 2016. Air Conditioning installed in 2020, as well as a new fence. Permits were pulled and inspected for all required work. Newer water heater, newer flooring, newer garbage disposal, newer vanities in bathrooms, newer irrigation controls, newer WiFi enabled thermostat, etc. There is a functional sprinkler system in front and back of the house.
This simple layout rancher is fully functional and move in ready, has a bathroom in each bedroom, and double French style doors(one door) in every room(4) with access to the back yard. Lots of natural light with double paned, factory sealed, PPG, window units throughout.
There is a Fisher wood stove with proper ventilation and placement. These wood stoves are no long manufactured and are a piece of history, but can be replaced, or removed. It was never used during my stay, I kept it for emergency heating purposes only. The house is cable/satellite, and DSL ready with updated neighborhood communications for blazing speeds.
Put shinier, trendy, stuff in house at your own pace and make it your own. After some extensive repair/replacement to roof, drywall, insulation, and flooring in late 2016 due to hail storm and leakage, this has been my solid, dependable, comfortable home ever since. It pains me to let it go, but I have a deteriorating health issue that is forcing me into early retirement.
Another disclaimer: The garage is attached, yet has outdoor access only.
However, the alley way and off street parking access is rare in this neighborhood. I have thoroughly enjoyed it on trash pickup day, when I have no need to drag around a trash container.
