We love this house, but we need to move due to work. Get your McBride Homes Aspen 2, without waiting for them to build it! When it came to options for the house, we chose most available upgrades: upgraded shingles and siding; 42" kitchen cabinets (that go up to the ceiling); a bank of kitchen drawers, quartz countertops (the look of marble without the maintenance); pet proof flooring throughout the home; black stainless steel GE appliances; 2 bay windows (primary bedroom and dining room); ceiling fan mounts in all three bedrooms, living room, and deck; composite deck off the dining room; concrete patio pad outside the walkout basement door; basement is plumbed for a full 3rd bathroom; and a 4th bedroom can easily be added. We also had the garage extension, making 2 feet longer than the default. The driveway was also upgraded to be as wide as the garage, not just the garage door.
This house was part of the final phase of the O’Brien Place subdivision. The 14 houses on Creek Side Place are entirely separate from the rest of the neighborhood. There is only one neighbor on the same side of the street. The open space next to the home will never be built up because of the retention pond.
Even with the heavy rains of 2024, the creek behind the house never topped the banks.
