This little 1920s nugget (Cryder Hollow as known by the family) has undergone several metamorphoses over the years. Closer is Tivoli for good food, and Clermont for communing with nature, picnicking, sunsets over the Catskills and so much more. Amtrak stops in Rhinebeck and Hudson - both 20 minutes away. The Mid Hudson Valley has much to offer. Olana, home of Frederic Church for trail walks and directly across the river in Catskill - the new Thomas Cole Center.
