This is an amazing, spacious, peaceful home walking distance to all 3 Cane Bay schools in a well established family neighborhood. The layout is thoughtfully designed for anything and everything! One part open floor plan, one part separation and privacy. A main floor bedroom, bathroom, and huge walk in closet are perfect for those who can not comfortably climb stairs. Plus, three more bedrooms are located upstairs all with large walk in closets. The master boasts a 9x11 closet/dressing room with a newly remodeled master bath including a huge romantic his and hers shower with custom tile and glass. There is storage galore. There is an oversized two car garage that is a mechanic's dream with work bench, cabinetry, and show room floor. The 2022 addition of a huge covered back patio combined with the original smaller covered front porch are the perfect place to unwind with a shaded breeze. The back yard has palm trees, peach trees, crepe myrtles, and pines perfectly spaced for hammocks. The kitchen appliances were all replaced in 2023 and the HVAC had a $9,000 upgrade this summer. We have been meticulous about maintenance and care. Although Cane Bay is growing quickly, traffic is minimized on this cul-de-sac off the main loop. Please come see this hidden jewel! We think you will love it as much as we do! No realtor commissions and junk fees! What a relief to buy a house and only pay for the house! The current mortgage at 3.5% is assumable for VA loan borrowers. Once you have a prequal letter, give us a call to schedule a showing.

What the owner loves about this home
Berkeley County has the lowest property taxes in the region and truly wonderful schools that set our kids up for success. The trail system is one of my favorite parts of living there, but the other is the stocked fishing ponds everywhere. They are not just recreational, this brilliant design includes flood pumps that route excess water from full ponds to low ponds during storms to ensure no homes ever flood. There is no need to carry flood insurance and our property is directly behind the local hurricane shelter (Cane Bay HS). It shares the same circuit so power is almost never lost and is first to be restored.
