What the owner loves about this home
There is morning sunlight coming in the kitchen and living room, facing east and south. Large windows throughout the home allows for lots of light. We find it to be very easy living in Leisure Village, where all the yard-work, tree trimming, outside maintenance and snow removal is done by the staff. They even remove snow from your driveway and all the way up to your door. They power-wash your house, annually, and Leisure Village will pay for any future shingle replacement and most other outside repairs. The arboretum-like Leisure Village is meticulously cared for by a well-trained professional staff. Mature trees, bushes, shrubbery, and flowers makes you feel as if you live in a park. The safe, gated neighborhood is quiet and peaceful, with no large roads nearby which can be good for sleeping at night. There is about every possible activity available in the village from our own golf course, swimming pool, tennis and pickle-ball courts, garden spots, recreation center, craft room, sewing room, wood shop, ceramics with kiln, exercise room, pool tables, movies, libraries, etc. There are many opportunities for social interaction including special dinners, parties, and entertainment. See website for more pictures and information about Leisure Village. We have experienced the residents and staff as friendly and helpful. Our favorite activities are to take the village rowboat out for a ride, or walk on sidewalks around the perimeter of the village, taking time to enjoy Leisure Lake along the way, about 2.5 miles (see sunset photo). Sidewalks are even lit at night.
