Welcome to my little home away from home; I am currently deployed to Germany but it would be a darn shame to waste such a wonderful retreat to what I know can be a hectic time for traveling professionals. My hope is that you have everything you might need to relax, enjoy being smack in downtown Colorado Springs, work a little, and enjoy the sites that this magical town gives you access to. You are within walking distance to pretty much everything you might need and the downtown scene gets better and better every year. The best part about this place though is that its in a natural little valley so all the noises usually associated with downtown living fall away. Enjoy the micro-ecosystem and mini oasis in the fenced-in backyard where the birds are aplenty and Pikes Peak is magnificent. While this is a shared property, you have the entire upstairs loft to yourself! Its quiet, spacious, fully-furnished, and would be a perfect space for traveling professionals or even a small family. Bask in the high ceilings (10-18 feet), Victorian charm, and high speed internet. The kitchen is fully-stocked, the dining room is fit for a dinner party, and the backyard is private and lush (herb garden, bird feeders and baths, vegetable garden) with a lovely covered veranda as well as a rocky zen patio. You personally have private access to the loft with 3 walk-in closets and a queen-sized bed, a private sitting room (with closet) and an additional private bedroom (full-sized bed + room for a desk or workout space + closet). You have a newly renovated private bath with a huge walk-in shower. The laundry, kitchen, dining, and garden are shared with the downstairs tenant. Smoking is not permitted inside the house but is permitted in the backyard. Cleaning products and linens are provided for the fully-furnished space. The house has trash pick-up weekly and recycling bi-weekly. The driveway can fit up to 3 cars and there are typically 2 street parking spots available directly in front of the house on any given day. You will be provided with personalized 4-digit code to open the front door and your upstairs loft at the start of your stay. The personalized code will be locked at your check-out time. Firearms are not allowed at any time on or in the property. There is a monthly non-refundable pet fee and move-out cleaning fee for those interested in staying here with pets.
