This completely renovated tiny house is on a .56 acre lot. It’s fully off grid with 1,125 watts of solar panels on the roof that power a 3600 watt power station. The power station provides electricity to the house. It can also powered by a small inverter generator under cloudy conditions. Water is supplied to the house from a 350 gallon IBC tote, which is connected to an on demand pump with filter. The pump is powered by a separate 50 watt solar panel. An on demand propane hot water heater is mounted on the backside of the house. Gray water from both sinks and the shower drain via buried pvc pipes to a constructed wetland, which provide healthy growth for the plants. THE TINY HOUSE CURRENTLY DOES NOT HAVE A TOILET. A composting toilet will be required to bring the house up to code. The current existing structure is 10’ x 12’ with a loft. My plans, which are certified and stamped by a structural engineer (see photos) consist of an addition of the same size 10’ x 12’. This would be to the right of the house where the porch currently is. When the house pad was created, this was accounted for. If the loft is to be used for sleeping purposes, it will require an emergency escape hatch (skylight) of 36”x36”.
