Getting started

Onboarding is easy. Review the onboarding guide for help following these steps:

Step 1: As a team lead, log in to your Zillow account. In the top right corner, click your photo to open the menu. Select “Settings,” then select “App Integrations” under “General” in the menu on the left side of the page.

Step 2: Click the “Add” button in the center of the page, select your CRM from the drop-down menu, and click “Next.”

What is the Zillow Premier Agent two-way integration?

Zillow Premier Agent partners now have the ability to integrate participating third-party apps and CRMs with Zillow. This creates a more seamless experience for the brokers and agents who partner with Zillow, to connect and serve buyers and sellers — all at no additional cost. For agent partners, this allows their Zillow contacts updates to automatically sync into their preferred third-party CRM or application. 

How does this integration help me? 

You can save time by working from your preferred participating app or CRM. Instead of having to work across the Premier Agent (PA) app and your external CRM system, information will automatically flow across systems. This means you don't have to go to multiple places to get information or enter the same update multiple times. 

How is this different from Tech Connect

Tech Connect only supports one-time and one-way communication, meaning any updates made in the participating third-party CRM did not reflect in the PA app, and similarly, updates from Zillow about or from the buyer or seller did not reflect in the third-party CRM. Zillow two-way integrations will take it a step further and enable synchronization both ways for certain fields. In other words, you can update from your PA app or your CRM app, and both apps will be up to date.

What happens when I connect via two-way integration if I’m already connected via Tech Connect?

Once you connect your CRM via two-way integration, you will be disconnected from Tech Connect as it will no longer be needed, and it’s not supported.

What apps are available, and what do I do if the app I want to use is unavailable?

Please visit our integrations page to check available integrations. We will be onboarding all third-party CRMs that have broad adoption within the Premier Agent community and can meet the requirements for seamless two-way integration. 

As a Flex partner, can I use the integration with supported apps to provide Flex contact updates?

Yes. We’ve worked closely with the supported apps to ensure they meet the needs of the Zillow Flex program. You will not need to provide additional updates on the PA app.  

Who can start using the new integration sync, and who needs to connect? 

Team leads, team members and individual Zillow Premier agent partners can use this integration. When a team lead connects, all contacts affiliated with their team are synced regardless of the agent assigned. When an individual agent or team member connects, all exclusive contacts (not associated with a team) are synced. Lastly, large teams with multiple Zillow teams can connect these multiple teams to a single 3P CRM account. Each integration might work slightly differently depending on each CRM features and structure, please check with your vendor for additional details. Please visit https://premieragent.zillow.com/settings/integrations to check available integrations.

What leads (contacts) will sync with my CRM?

Only Zillow leads (contacts) originating from Zillow will sync into your CRM. The goal of this integration is to make it easier for you to manage your Zillow contacts. On the initial connection between Zillow and your CRM account, all contacts with activity in the last 6 months within the PA app will be synced. The Zillow contacts will have notes, assigned agent, status, communication events and transactions synced. Tasks will be coming soon.

If I am entering my Flex transactions in my CRM app, do I need to take any additional steps on the Zillow Premier Agent app?

Yes, while the information entered in your CRM will sync with Zillow, there is additional information and steps required to fill out the Flex Transaction Details Page in Zillow, including uploading closing documents.

If transactions are included in the two-way integration between Zillow and my CRM app, does it matter which platform I use?

No. We recommend sticking with one workflow of either entering the transaction in Zillow or your CRM app to prevent any duplicates.

With the integrations, does that mean I don’t need to use the Zillow Premier Agent app anymore? 

Not necessarily, the integration is focused on day-to-day updates of existing contacts. The Zillow Premier Agent app is still needed for team management actions, such as capacity and routing settings, Zillow specific reports, and Non-CRM standard customer workflows, such as My Agent relationship actions, ZHL transfer, Flex fee payments, and Touring.

What if I have additional questions, issues or want to disconnect from the integration?

You will be able to disconnect from the integration at any time. For questions or to report issues, you can use your existing available channels through partner support (888-466-3051 or partnersupport@zillowgroup.com) or your Sales Advisor.
