Events don’t have to be huge affairs. Grab-and-go style gatherings are just as important as an annual fiesta and can be a good cost-conscious alternative. The key is coming up with events your residents will respond to, talk about and want to attend. It can be as simple as cutting a few lemons and laying out a beautiful tablecloth — because who doesn’t like a cold glass of lemonade on a hot summer afternoon?

Preparing for your summer refresher

1. Two weeks before the event: Let your community know the date and time so residents can plan to stop by for a cool drink. Promote the event through your social channels using fun, beautiful images.
2. One week before: Gather your supplies and create your signs. Click on the items under “Supplies” below to shop for everything you’ll need.
3. One day before: Assemble your ingredients. Make and refrigerate the lemonade.
4. Day of: Put out your signs, set the table and let your guests enjoy a refreshing drink and good conversation!
5. Don’t forget to capture your event with photos and video. You can share these on your social channels and potentially use them in future collateral.
