Today we’re launching our first company-wide rebrand at Zillow Group.

I couldn’t be more excited. We’re driving a massive shift to transform how millions of people buy, sell and rent homes. The rebrand signals our new direction to create the on-demand magic consumers expect — and bring simplicity and joy to the process of finding a place to call home.

You’ll notice a whole new look and feel on Zillow. The site features bigger and more immersive home photos, a simplified shopping experience, and an updated logo and new illustrations. The rebrand extends to Zillow Offers, the newly named Zillow Home Loans (formerly Mortgage Lenders of America), and what we’re now calling Zillow Premier Agent.  

Adding 'Zillow' — a name consumers love and trust — to Premier Agent was a strategic decision to share our brand value with your business. That’s because we're reinventing Premier Agent around one word: partnership.

We no longer consider agents 'advertisers.' We’re evolving our relationships with Zillow Premier Agents into partnerships. We’ll work together to deliver world-class experiences for buyers, sellers and renters on each step of their journey.

As part of this evolution, we’re creating standards of excellence for agents that we never had before. Gone are the days of letting anyone with a credit card in the door. Our focus now is connecting home shoppers with the best real estate professionals.

We’re doing that by measuring the customer experience using data collected from the moment a live connection takes place. Over time, we’ll link Customer Experience Scores with transaction data.

Agents who earn Best of Zillow status will be celebrated with rewards and a Best of Zillow badge on their agent profiles. The badge signals to the millions of home shoppers on our site which agents provide exceptional service.

After all, that’s what consumers value in today’s real estate market — exceptional experiences.

Here’s where you shine. You, as a Zillow Premier Agent, are the magic maker. We’ll provide you with a platform optimized to help you connect and communicate with buyers, sellers and renters.

But it’s you who brings the guidance, compassion and negotiating skills to every customer experience. During intense times of hope and stress and fear, you’re the beacon of trust.

All of which reminds me of my first experience buying a home.

Years ago, my wife and I were living in New York City. We had a baby on the way and needed to move out of our rental. The stakes were high and so was our anxiety.

Then Judy Saunders entered our lives. A seasoned agent well-acquainted with the jungle of New York real estate, she took us under her wing, calmed our nerves and steered us away from potential pitfalls.
