Ensure Listings Stay on Zillow
If there is a disruption to the IDX data feed to Zillow, a portion of local-area homes would disappear from where most buyers look for homes. Ensure listings stay on Zillow Group websites with a PDAP (Participant Data Access Policy) feed to display your for-sale, rental and off-market properties.
The Designated Managing Broker of your office will need to complete the following steps.
Step 1: Fill Out and Sign the Listing Feed Agreement
Once your brokerage information is received a DocuSign of the Listing Feed Agreement will be sent to the Designated Managing Broker for signature.
Step 2: Connect Your Listings to Zillow Group via MLS Grid
To complete the setup, the Designated Managing Broker should follow the steps below:
Register Online via MLS Grid
- Create an MLS Grid account by visiting https://app.mlsgrid.com/register. Fill in the required information and select “I am a broker”.
- Once the account is initiated, an email from notify@mlsgrid.com will be sent to the email address provided.
- Click the link in the email to finalize your MLS Grid account, including completing brokerage details and confirming the primary contact information that will be used for the data license agreement.
Add a Vendor Recipient (Zillow) for Data Export
Note: Only the Designated Managing Broker credentials registered in MRED will work to complete all these steps.
- While logged into your MLS Grid account, click Manage Subscriptions from the left sidebar menu.
- Select Broker Only Subscription, then confirm the details of your MLS membership by selecting your MLS and providing your Member MLS ID; Click Next.
- Confirm that the brokerage information sourced from your MLS is accurate and click Send Email. If anything is incorrect, contact your MLS to have it updated before proceeding.
- A confirmation email will be sent from notify@mlsgrid.com to the email associated with your MLS membership. In that email, click Complete Verification.
- Click Manage Subscriptions in the sidebar menu.
- Click Manage Office Data Recipients, then select the grey Add Recipient button.
- Click on Send to Data Consumer, type and select Zillow. Review the MLS Grid Data License Agreement, then click Sign & Accept.
- In the pop-up box, provide your full legal name, brokerage name, and contact information.
- Once the required information is entered, click the button at the bottom of the pop-up to sign and finalize the data license agreement.
If you encounter any issues during Step 2 of this process, MLS Grid Support is available at support@mlsgrid.com, and is very responsive.
Once you have completed both steps, MLS Grid will send an approval to the Designated Managing Broker and Zillow to allow for the office listings to be displayed on Zillow Group websites.
