How Real Estate Photographers Can Get Started With Zillow 3D Home®

Get instructions for downloading the app, a self-guided training course with video tutorials, and equipment requirements.

Download the Zillow 3D Home app 

To get started, download the Zillow 3D Home app and log in with your best email address. 

Required equipment      

Capturing virtual tours and interactive floor plans requires a compatible Ricoh Theta or Insta360 camera. The Insta360 ONE RS 1-Inch 360 Edition, X3, or X2 cameras and Ricoh Theta Z1 X, V, SC2, and SC2 for Business are compatible with the Zillow 3D Home app. You can purchase a camera directly from Ricoh’s website.

Note: The Theta V line has been discontinued, but it’s still compatible with the Zillow 3D Home app.

You will also need:

  • A tripod or monopod. Any brand and model will allow you to attach the compatible Ricoh Theta or Insta360 camera to the top.
  • A floor marker. Please fill out this form to get a free floor marker mailed to you. Include your best shipping address in your email. A sheet of blank, white printer paper size 8.5″x 11″ can be used instead, but is not recommended.
  • A compatible phone or tablet. Compatible devices include Android phones and tablets running Android OS 7.0 or later and iPhones, iPads, or iPod Touches running iOS 15 or later.

You can manage, edit, and share each of your 3D Home tours using your 3D Home dashboard here. You can access the dashboard from a desktop or from inside the Zillow 3D Home app.
