Forum data highlights

You may have noticed that we are, as a company, somewhat enthusiastic about data ... alright let’s be real – obsessed is more like it.

Forum is a data-gathering gold mine for us, and since one of our core values is ‘Turn on the Lights,’ which is all about transparency, we want to share some insights into what we learned from our biggest event of the year.

In a post-Forum survey, 70 percent of attendees said the event more than exceeded expectations.

Several commented that it inspired them to make changes to their business by managing leads better and streamlining follow-up processes.

We also heard feedback that Zillow Group can throw a pretty awesome party. (We agree!)

Attendees also had plenty to say about improvements. Some called out the need for more meet-and-greet opportunities and round-table sessions; and more chances to hear from agents “who are killing it.”

Oh – and some weren’t thrilled with the water bottle in the swag bag. Duly noted for next year.

A snapshot of more highlights:

  • Amount attendance increased this year: 26 percent
  • Percent of attendees who came for the first time: 68 (welcome!)
  • Number of sides on the LED disco ball above the dance floor at Drai’s Nightclub: 80
  • 47 states represented at Forum
  • #PremierAgentForum was tweeted out 881 times
  • 339 Dear World portraits taken
  • Number of selfies taken: Anyone? Anyone?

Finally, big congrats to Rita Naman, of Walnut Creek, CA, who won our Product Place Sweepstakes  – see you at next year’s Forum, Rita!

We’re now returning to our regularly scheduled data crunching to figure out how to make next year’s Forum even more epic.
