If you need another reason to keep your listings up-to-date, here it is: More than ever, buyers and sellers use mobile technology to look up current housing data — and with just a glance at their wrist, they can access a wealth of information. The latest releases from Zillow are all about helping consumers view and save home data at any time and from anywhere.
Here are three of Zillow’s most recent products your clients can use to find your listings.
Zillow on the Apple Watch provides information on homes that are close to the wearer’s location — right from their wrist. Buyers can view Zestimate® home values, browse nearby homes for sale and see the latest listings that match their saved searches.
Wearers of Android technology can receive location-specific home information through the Zillow Real Estate Android App. Users can view median home values, save a home as a favorite or open the full listing description to get directions to properties, find open house events and even jot down notes about the homes that interest them. The “ambiactive” mode also allows the app to use less power when running in the background.
Both Apple Watch and Android Wear provide timely updates with the latest information. For example, if a seller client has claimed their home and made updates that are significant enough to affect the Zestimate, buyers will be able to view the change instantly, too.
Note: Android Wear users will be able to take advantage of the new feature after they receive an over-the-air update.
When consumers walk through a neighborhood and wonder what homes are for sale or rent, or where to find an open house, they can easily discover that information using Zillow’s latest integration with Google.
With the Google app installed on their Android devices, users can just say “OK Google” to wake up their phone — or tap the mic in the Google search bar — and ask a question to begin their search. Once they’ve activated the search function, users on the go can quickly and easily find your Zillow listings.
Potential clients want the most up-to-date information, and they want it whenever and wherever they happen to be; that’s one of the reasons you should update your profile often with reviews, listings and past sales. Consumers also want to know that you’re at least as tech savvy as they are. Every day there are more and more ways for buyers and sellers to view and save home information, and real estate agents can benefit from knowing — and perhaps even adopting — the technology that enables it.
