The Textile Building in downtown Cincinnati has a rich history dating back to its construction in 1906. Originally developed as part of a city initiative to centralize the city's dispersed garment and textile industries, the building was purpose-built to support Cincinnati's growing manufacturing sector. Designed by local architect Gustav W. Drach, it is a striking example of Commercial and Renaissance Revival architecture, standing 12 stories tall and spanning over 213,000 square feet. Today, under the stewardship of The Bernstein Company, the building has been thoughtfully transformed into modern luxury residences now known as the Textile Apartmentswhile retaining its historic charm and architectural integrity.
