The buildings are old but the outsides are in the process of being painted and re-panelled and will look much better when finished. It was clean and the rooms were good size. The grounds are plain, nice pool. The best thing about it is the manager, Seana. She was extremely helpful and spent a lot of time with me both on the phone and in person.

Centered in northwestern Orange County, Cypress (90630) blends suburban calm with a friendly, diverse community and mild, coastal‑influenced weather. Once dairy farmland, it’s now known for tidy neighborhoods, weekend youth sports, and gatherings at Oak Knoll and Veterans parks, with the Los Alamitos Race Course and Cypress College adding local energy. Paths along Coyote Creek and the San Gabriel River Trail make biking to the coast doable, and beaches are a quick drive. Day-to-day life is convenient: supermarkets like Ralphs and Stater Bros., coffee spots and casual eateries line Katella and Valley View; LA Fitness and local studios keep workouts easy; nearby Cerritos Towne Center and The Shops at Rossmoor expand the shopping and dining scene. Recent median asking rents have hovered around the low $3,000s, with most rentals ranging from the high $2,000s to mid-$3,000s depending on size. Pet owners find plenty of walkable streets and nearby dog-friendly spaces, and commuters appreciate access to the 405, 605, 22, and 91 corridors for quick hops to Long Beach, Anaheim, and Irvine.
