Property
The grounds are lovely and the curb appeal of their apartments and townhouses are appealing but the interior of the units is terrible (I toured a townhouse and spent time at a friend's apartment). They prepare the units for the next tenant by sloppily slapping paint over everything, even the light switches, hinges, and outlets. It's just sloppy and you can see drips of paint in various places. And, the townhouse I viewed had a strong odor from the previous tenant and it was very off-putting, adding to the overall negative feeling I had when there. The fixtures and hardware are the cheapest they make and it gives the overall appearance as rundown and cheap. There is carpet everywhere, even the dining area and in one room it wasn't laid right and there was a big buckle in it. I would have loved to live there. The community is lovely, the amenities are great, and the location is perfect. It's too bad they don't take more time to update the units and keep them in the nice style that their offices and clubhouse are. However, while in the unit, picturing my son and I living there, I felt a wave of depression. Yuck.
