    Proudly named after the small village and community in Wales is The Cynwyd. The residents feel the community vibe in this 4-story building. Also, the inside is by far the most unique of layouts for any apartment as almost no units contain rectangular rooms. The building itself rests right off the gold coast of Lakewood and is hard to miss. The brick foundation of this building constructed in 1920 has more than architectural character. A private courtyard and garden rests in the rear surrounded by a fence enclosure. And the new windows are obvious just driving by as the stark white of the window framing contrasts the brick color. The building is filled with light through the halls, corridors, and the units themselves. Resident's find any commute is extremely easy to just about anywhere with the proximity to the shore way. The travel to downtown Cleveland is a breezy and so fast you may not be able to finish the song you are currently listening. Another simple option are the bus stops on the brand new Cleveland State University buses, right out your front door that lead to West Park Station or all the way through downtown Cleveland. While the building is commute friendly, it is still nature powered too. It is almost centered between Lakewood Park and Cleveland's Edgewater Park. Lakewood Park is one of the largest lakefront parks in all of Ohio, complete with plenty of activity areas for recreational sports and activities. There's even a stage and trail that circles the whole park. Edgewater Park has a full beach with food stands, grills, shelters, fishing, and a complete experience too. Tired of work and activities can be frequent for our residents with so much around. Luckily, the building sits just west of 'The Edge'. The Edge is the neighborhood area to the East with concert venues, pubs/bars/taverns, and eateries where Lakewood and Cleveland property lines meet.
