In addition to being fully weatherized, updates to the home include solar hot water, full insulation, high-efficiency forced-air natural gas furnace, and energy-efficient double-paned windows, helping you save on energy bills. You'll love the off-street parking (unassigned, for one car) in the winter months, and you'll have your own dedicated storage area. There's also currently another vacant storage area available for an extra fee. The location on the corner of N Fessenden and N Mohawk in the St. Johns neighborhood can't be beat. You'll be near the St Johns Bridge for quick trips to Downtown Portland, and plentiful mass transit options: Right on bus line 4, Fessenden, and a short walk to bus lines 6, 16, 17, 40, and 75. Walk to beautiful Pier Park. Shop at Fred Meyer, New Seasons, or Safeway. Tenant pays for water/sewer (your share of the 7-plex's bill), electricity, gas, and internet, and will be billed back for garbage. Owner takes care of landscaping. Pet policy: Pets negotiable but no large dogs Smoking policy: Smoking is prohibited on entire premises SECURITY DEPOSITThe security deposit for this property will be at least equal to one month's rent. Based on the results of the tenant screening process, an additional security deposit may be required. If applicable, the additional amount will be: * An extra half-month's rent for properties located within Portland city limits In addition, a $500 pet deposit is required for each pet. Emotional Support Animals (ESAs) are exempt from pet deposits. This rental home is located in the City of Portland, and the open application begins on 11/22/25 at 5:51PM. Applications submitted before this time are subject to an 8-hour penalty. Applications will be processed in the order in which they are received. If multiple tenants are applying for a unit, the application is considered complete once all parties have submitted. Scout uses a third party screener for all applicants to our available properties. Screening takes an average of three (3) business dayswith some taking more time and some taking less time, depending on the number of applicants and other varying factors.
