    McCormick Heights is a new apartment community overlooking Tacoma and Mount Rainer. Within blocks of the University of Washington, St. Joseph's Hospital & Tacoma General, the new light rail extension connects us to the central business district of Tacoma and to Seattle by train. We are just ten miles from Joint Base Lewis McChord making an easy commute for members of the military who are stationed at JBLM. Interior finishes include quartz white diamond sparkle countertops, luxury vinyl tile flooring, underhung sinks, stainless steel appliances, oversized triple paned windows which open fully, optional A/C in almost every unit and washer and dryer in every apartment. Custom faux-wood blinds give you privacy and control over the light in your space. The high end finishes are topped off by stained hardwood maple cabinets with soft-close hardware so you'll never hear a cabinet door slam. Sound proof doors and thresholds are a big plus! Five boutique buildings with just four apartments per floor makes every apartment a coveted corner suite! (A few basement apartments don't have the large windows but they make up for it with lots of wall space and a cozy quiet feel. Many nightshift workers who sleep during the day prefer those apartments.) Our fourth-floor apartments have ten-foot ceilings giving a spacious open feel and all buildings have secured entrances. Must be able to show 2.5 times the rent in income. We cannot accept prior evictions. Cats and dogs accepted with management approval; breed restrictions apply. Pets must be under 65 pounds and over one year old, no puppies or kittens allowed. Prices are subject to change without notice. Non-smoking building. Please note: Square footage numbers are approximations of the gross area to give you a general idea on sizing.
