It's easy to settle into, with thoughtful touches and a location that puts just about everything within easy walking reach. Cross the street go down the stairs and a short 75 yard walk and you are on the Clark Fork river trail that connects to all of Missoula. Free city bus service across the street. Downtown Missoula, the "Hip Strip", local brewery, Roxy Theater, coffee houses, cafes/restaurants within 3 blocks. Laundromat is 2 blocks away. It sits above the garage of a residential property and offers a blend of privacy, comfort, and updated design. It's a newer build, so everything inside feels fresh, clean lines, modern finishes, and just the right size for a single person or couple. The living space has laminated hardwood floors, which not only look good but are easy to clean. The living room is inviting, with a cozy couch, and a desk setup with a proper chair, perfect if you're working remotely or need a quiet place to study. TDS is putting in a new internet connection with 1 Gig speed in December, 2025. There are bookcases and end tables that make it feel like more than just a rental; it feels lived in and homey without being cluttered. The kitchen flows right into the dining and living areas thanks to its open-concept layout. It's fully furnished with coffee maker, toaster, mixer, popcorn popper, and other essentials including spices, with stainless steel appliances and Corian countertops that are both sleek and functional. There's a pub-style table that comfortably seats four, which works great whether you're eating solo or having someone over for dinner. The separate bedroom is tucked away with a queen-sized bed, its own smart TV, and a closet for clothes and storage. The bathroom is modern and clean, with a large walk-in Rain shower, a single vanity with copper sink and Corian countertop and all the basics you would expect. The toilet also has bidet attachment. You'll also have a small balcony, just enough space to enjoy a cup of coffee in the morning or get a little fresh air in the evenings. Street parking is available nearby and at least one to two spaces are available behind the garages, which won't be in use. Utilities are included in the rent, which keeps monthly costs simple. A once monthly or bi-weekly cleaning service is available for an extra fee if you want to keep things tidy without the hassle. The space is pet-friendly to a cat only, but the cat must not claw the furniture as the couch is suede. There may be another cat in the main house, though that is not yet determined. In any case, if allowed outside, your cat will need to be on good terms with their feline neighbor. Or your cat can use the small balcony. No dogs, though, due to the extensive gardens and hardwood floors. Owner pays all utilities. Deposit is $1650.
