Once I drove up to the property, I knew this was not going to be the place for me, but I gave it the benefit of doubt because of the nice photos from Zillow. I thought I could look past the neighboring house, but I felt deceived when I walked inside. The kitchen looks pretty clean. The new appliances were nice (including the new washer and dryer) and the kitchen looked like it was slightly updated, but the remainder of the house was dirty and needs a lot of work. There are weird circular marks on the floor of the room adjacent to the kitchen and the corners where the walls meet the floors has dirt in them. All of the windows are old and one had a wasps nest in it. The closets upstairs looked gross and the bathroom tub has stains in it. ALL of the walls need repainting, especially the upstairs. I met the neighbor to the right of the house, and he seemed very sweet, but he told me no one has lived here for about a year, which I can see why. I was also surprised to see chickens at the hoarder house next door (I love chickens but the walls are so thin that I could hear their quiet calls). Overall, the Zillow posting is extremely deceiving. It is going to be very difficult to find someone to live there due to the conditions of the house and the hoarder house next door.
