Upon payment, Tenant will be released from further rent obligations after vacating the unit and returning possession to the Landlord, provided the unit is left in good condition. Option 2: Month-to-Month Until Re-Rented Tenant may continue to pay rent on a month-to-month basis until a new tenant is secured and the unit is re-rented. Tenant remains responsible for rent, utilities, and property care during this time. Once a new lease is signed and the new tenant takes possession, Tenant's lease obligation will end. In both cases, Tenant is responsible for providing proper written notice, complying with all move-out procedures, and leaving the unit in good, clean condition. Failure to do so may result in deductions from the security deposit as outlined in this agreement. $2700 for month to month lease.
