The main floor boasts a spacious living area with double sofas, a dining area with seating for 10+, and a gourmet kitchen with solid wood cabinetry and a gas stove. The master bedroom offers a queen bed, fireplace, and full stone bath with a soaking tub. Upstairs, find four additional bedrooms with queen beds and a loft den with entertainment options. The downstairs area includes a future game room with bumper pool and foosball, and a warm garage entry for easy access to snow gear.
Early check-in and late check-out are subject to availability with a $25 per hour fee. Parking is limited to no more than 3 cars, and street parking is not permitted. Firewood is not provided, but can be purchased in town.
The chalet is situated in the small vacation town of Beech Mountain, NC, offering a wonderful ambiance and a place to relax and refresh. The serene setting provides plenty of attractions such as skiing, snowboarding, eco-tourism, and hiking. Both Beech Mountain and Banner Elk offer fine dining and shopping at your fingertips. It is highly recommended to bring a 4WD or AWD to access Beech Mountain, especially during winter months when snow chains are suggested.
Security cameras are located on the front door, back deck, and garage. Quiet hours are after 10 PM, and trash must be bagged and taken to the Bearicade to avoid a $50 charge. Smoking is not allowed, and supervision is required for small children on the decks due to extreme height and sudden drop-off. A rental agreement is required to be signed per North Carolina Chapter 42A Vacation Rental Act.
