Upstairs, you'll find an open kitchen, a dining/living area, a primary bedroom, a full bathroom, and a second area that can serve as an office, work out space and/or an additional bedroom. The space runs the length of the barn, with double doors and a balcony at the back. The barn is on a charming 6-acre farm housing horses, goats, bunnies, and chickens. The neighborhood is quiet and picturesque, conveniently located near Newberry/8th between Tioga and Haile. Hospitals, shopping centers, I-75, Oaks Mall, Santa Fe, and UF are just minutes away. *Apartment Features: The apartment has A/C, heating, and ceiling fans in the living area and primary bedroom. The full kitchen includes a stainless-steel stove/oven & refrigerator (new 2023), and dishwasher. Luxury Vinyl flooring was upgraded in 2023, with tile in the kitchen and bathroom. Note that the layout best suits a single person or a couple (maximum of 2 occupants). To access the second bedroom area to the kitchen or bathroom, you must walk through the main bedroom. There's one large closet available (see the layout diagram). Parking for up to 2 vehicles in front of the barn apartment on concrete (open area/not covered). The lower part of the barn houses some animals & is used daily for animal feeding. Occupants should expect sounds, smells and living related to a barn and caring for animals. *Lease Details: The landlord prefers a minimum 1-year lease. Rent is $1300/month for one person or $1500/month for two people, plus utilities (averaging $150-175/month for electricity, water, and garbage). Note: water is from our well; there is a water filter system installed for the kitchen sink. The first month's rent is due one week before move-in. A refundable security deposit of $1000 is required at lease signing. *Policy: Dogs are not preferred, but cats are allowed upon approval. *Smoking/Vaping: No smoking or vaping is allowed inside the barn or apartment. *Landlord Proximity: The owner/landlord lives on the property in a separate house, approximately a football field away. Showing requests- please message us letting us know a bit about you (student, full time work, retired, etc), your current living situation, your timelines, any pets, etc. Need 24 hour's notice for all showings. Applicants should have a 650+ credit score. pending lease- no additional showings at the moment 1 year lease. Available 4/1/25.
