The main floor galley kitchen is fully equipped with under-cabinet lighting, oven/range, dishwasher, microwave, coffee maker, toaster oven, glassware, a complete set for 12 of fine china, cutlery, bake-ware, pots, pans, a stock pot, and a few pieces of 100 year-old seasoned cast iron cookware. The living room opens to a large wrap-around deck and has a gas-fired stacked-stone fireplace, flat-screen TV, DVD/VHS player with 5-disk CD player and AM/FM. The home is wired for Internet, cable and Smart TV. The lower level has an open family room with entertainment kitchen, gas fireplace, flat-screen TV and full bath. A terrace with Weber gas grill and dining table (seats 6) is also on the lower level, along with a washer and dryer. There is a flat-bottom boat, and life jackets and paddles are located in the storage room. Fishing is catch and release. Maison Rouge is conveniently located within walking distance (a little less than 1 mile) or a 3-minute drive from downtown Highlands, the ideal destination for romance, girlfriend getaways, families and leisure groups. There is no smoking of any kind in the unit, and there will be an automatic $500 cleaning fee if there is any smoke smell inside of the unit. If you smoke, please do so off of the property, at least 15 feet away from any doors/windows. There is an automatic $100 late check-out charge if you're still in the property 20 minutes after check-out. If septic tank rules are not followed and result in a backup, the tenant will be held responsible for repairs. There is a 50lbs pet weight limit.
