The property is a short walk to the ocean and enjoys a sense of privacy and tranquility. The Bamboo King Suite is a remodeled 325 Sq foot King Suite with a bath, and private entrance. The rental includes the use of the furnished and covered 500 sq foot breezeway with living, dining area, simple outdoor kitchen, and laundry. Although the breezeway is technically a common area as other residents use it to access the laundry room, it is unoccupied 99% of the time. The suite boasts a full-size king bed, 3.4 Sq cubic foot fridge, new 50" TV, microwave, hot water heater, coffee pour-over, and laundry access. Linens, towels, and high-speed wireless internet are provided. The property is private, gated, and tucked away at the end of the road. A simple outdoor kitchen boasts a full-size fridge, food prep area, two burner cook top, and barbecue. Pots, pans, plates, cups, silverware, etc are provided. One of East Hawaii's most spectacular white sand beaches awaits down a path starting at the back of the property. This is a 1 hour 15 min hike but is well worth the effort. The beach is remote, easy to swim at (unless at very high tide when one should be very careful or not swim at all), and often the only other visitors are sea turtles and seals. You are a 7-minute walk to the ocean cliffs from where you can explore the majestic coastline, see whales and dolphins (when in seasons), and enjoy the cool ocean breeze. Beach chairs are recommended and available. Swimming is NOT possible at this location. Ala Moana's location makes a great home base for short trips to Volcano National Park, the Hamakua Coast, Akaka Falls, Kahuna Falls, Rainbow Falls, Umauma Falls, Farmers' Markets and a nearby Black Sand Beach. There are also many great restaurants, markets, and stores in nearby Pahoa (15 min drive), Keaau (15 min drive), and Hilo. This is Ideal for someone who likes having good people nearby for that feeling of safety, as three other sweet humans live on the property, but also enjoys privacy as the space is very large and the unit has it's own private entrance. The rental is suitable for only ONE PERSON only. Least duration flexible depending on circumstances. $200 cleaning fee will be taken out of the damage deposit Quiet hours are 9 pm - 7 am No more than 1 guest at a time. No parties. No loud Music. Park in designated space only No shoes inside the home No smoking Do not move furniture Water and Electricity included. Gas for bbq is not included. Report any damages, breakages, or malfunctioning equipment immediately Toilet paper only in the toilet (the property is on a septic system) No Bleach in the Laundry or down the drain. This will cause issues with the septic system. Plant-based soaps only. No Oil down any drain. Water only Damages of any kind caused by guests will be the Tenants responsibility, and the guest will be charged accordingly. Trash and recycling are renters' responsibility to take to the transfer station No more than one overnight guest at any time Park in a designated space. 1 car max. 1 guest spot available. The laundry room is available between 9 am and 5 pm.
