Come live in this beautifully renovated farm house sitting on top of a hill with a native wildflower prairie restoration in front of it and hammocks shaded by a large oak tree overlooking a food forest and wildlife habitat growing to the south. The main living area is open-concept with expansive views of a hay field through an entire wall of glass. There is a cozy fireplace sitting area facing a kitchen with an enormous island, a six burner stove, double ovens and storage for two kitchens worth of dishes. The kitchen has two dishwashers to be the ultimate hosting space. The garage has space for two cars and I use it for lots of projects. We are hoping for someone to stay in and care for our beautiful home and we are open to a multi-year lease. There is a guest bath in the hall with a double vanity, and the owner's suite bathroom has a large shower, and a soaking tub with Spanish tile and natural wood accents. The corner guest bedroom has two windows, and the middle bedroom has a window with a garden view. All the bedrooms have large closets. There is also an office on the opposite side of the house that we used as a bedroom for guests as well, a half bath, and a huge finished basement that we also set up as a bedroom/living space that has direct access to the outside. The main floor has a large laundry area with even more closets and access to the garage to double as a mudroom. The front of the house has a designer front porch with rain chains facing a regenerative garden that has been maintained using organic practices and has perennial native flowers and fruits mixed in. There are a also two trails in the forest going to two separate streams that meet in the back. The forest trails are private and part of the property only shared with the immediate neighboring white house. Almost every aspect of this home has been renovated with the utmost care and attention to detail including newly insulated attic and high efficiency heating and cooling. There is also access to high speed FiOS internet. I'm hoping to find a tenant who will love the home as much as we do while you stay. This house allows absolutely no smoking indoors.
