This unit rents for $6,500 for a one-month rental, but I will drop to $4,500 per month for a four- or five-month rental commitment, saving $8,000 - $10,000.
Security deposit (equal to the first month rent) and the first month's rent are due upon signing the rental agreement.
Steamboat has so much to offer. If you are looking for a quiet, upscale, short-term home conveniently located to all the services, including Alpine and Nordic skiing, this could be your home for the next few months.
If you are looking for a slope-side place with the ski crowds and the noise, my home is NOT for you.
I love Steamboat Springs for many reasons. Number one is the location of my condo which is in a quiet, four-unit building surrounded by lawns and trees. My friendly neighbors are all working professionals. It makes a perfect home.
The location is ideal because it is close to maintained hiking trails (even in the winter), Whistler Park, the terrific Bud Werner Library, Old Town Hot Springs (a great health club with thermal baths and an outdoor, heated lap pool), Colorado Mountain College and all the shopping you might want or need. It is all right here. Steamboat is the best mountain town in Colorado.
My home is in a Minimum 30-day stay ONLY zone, which helps keep the living quiet and comfortable. I would prefer to rent the place for the entire period, and as I said, will give up revenue for the right tenant staying the entire period. I am looking for a person or couple who needs a short-term rental from November 22 through the end of April (dates negotiable). Please contact me with any questions.
Here are the short details of my home:
2-Bed/2-Bath Condo with Vaulted Ceilings, Gourmet Kitchen, Garage + Storage, Fully Furnished, Fireplace, All Utilities and Services Included, 1,250 sq ft.

This gorgeous 2nd-floor walk-up has an open, light-filled living area with vaulted ceilings, hardwood floors, and oversized windows framing views of the Ski Mountain, Emerald Mountain, and a forested green space with a seasonal creek where wildlife is seen throughout the year. A very private, and quiet, location.
The remodeled gourmet kitchen features quartz countertops with a breakfast bar area for casual dining, a new professional-grade gas stove/oven, Bosch dishwasher, quiet GE refrigerator/freezer, and professional cookware (All-Clad, KitchenAid mixer and food processor, etc). The Williams Sonoma dining table seats eight when expanded.
Relax in the living room after a day of skiing or other activity in the oversized recliner, enjoying the gas fireplace, and the large-screen smart TV. A private deck with a gas grill extends the living space outdoors.
Both bedrooms are private, corner rooms with en suite bathrooms, large closets (that have built-in dresser and shelves), and windows on two sides with high quality shades. The en suite bathrooms have shower/bathtub, tile floors, and fluffy towels and hair dryers. The primary bathroom has a large linen closet for storage.
The primary bedroom is very large and includes an office setup, with desk (overlooking green space), a Herman Miller office chair, an HP computer monitor, Canon laser printer/scanner, and fully stocked office supplies.
The bed in the primary bedroom is very comfortable (upper-end Posh and Lavish mattress - King size, high quality bedding, comforters and numerous pillows).
The 2nd bedroom has two twin beds, with the same high quality linens, etc. A television is also in this room. This is a perfect guest room.
The entry way is tiled, with a bench and coat pegs, and a large storage closet that includes built-in shelving and a coat bar.
The full-sized washer and dryer are in a closet in the hallway between the bedrooms, complete with laundry detergent, cleaning supplies, and extra kitchen and bathroom supplies.
The hallway opens up to a spacious room surrounded by large windows and lifted up with the high, vaulted ceiling, The open design unites the upscale kitchen, dining and living areas. This lovely area is where you will spend most of your time while at home.
Excellent location. Tucked into nature at the end of a cul de sac, in a very quiet neighborhood, with permanent Steamboat residents as your neighbors. One mile to the ski basin via cleared sidewalk if you are up for a warm-up walk. The better option is the free bus that stops at the entry of the Mustang Run complex every 15 minutes (10 minute trip to the base).
The Garage is remote control entry, with a keypad entry also, if that is preferred. The one-car garage has a ski rack, space for other sports equipment and items needing to be stored.
Don't worry about the Steamboat snow because the condo's snow removal crew keeps the driveway and neighborhood lane cleared promptly.
And driving on the Steamboat during winter is a breeze thanks to our expert, very best road clearing crew.
Grocery shopping is five minutes away and downtown Downtown is an easy ten minutes for all kinds of fun galleries, shopping and restaurants. The free bus will also take you to these places.
All utilities are included: Gas (which includes heat and hot water), electricity, water, trash removal, Comcast cable with HBO, high-speed and reliable internet, and prompt snow removal. Optional monthly cleaning service $150 per month. My local handyman is available when necessary and I am prompt in my responses to your requests.

Steamboat Springs’ 80487 sits in the Yampa Valley with a laid-back, ranching-meets-ski-town vibe.
