Property
I liked the independent way to tour it with a code for door in a time window. The kitchen is beautiful, the laundry room/mud room is good, the bathrooms are beautiful, love the floor and fireplace. So much yes, but the bedrooms are small such that a queen size bed would take up the entire room, the front door would not relock, and had to call zip rent, and do not know how that came out. The french doors need a window cover for night time, the front porch smells musty, the gutter is full of leaves. So much yes, but quite a few red flags too.

Expect a Mediterranean climate with ocean breezes, morning marine layer, and plenty of sunny afternoons. The Funk Zone’s galleries, wine rooms, and breweries sit beside tasting patios and street murals, while dining ranges from The Lark and the Santa Barbara Public Market’s food hall to local favorites like Mony’s. Coffee culture thrives at Dune, Handlebar, and Caje; daily errands are simple with Ralphs, Target, Paseo Nuevo shops, and frequent farmers markets. Recent Zillow market trends show median asking rents hovering in the mid-$3,000s, with most listings roughly $2,500–$6,000+ depending on size and proximity to the waterfront.
