     Property

    The property was completely different from the pictures. The realtor admitted this was the first time they had showed the problems and did not realize what a bad state it was in. Cracked windows, stains all over, door locks broken, fallen off handles, disgusting fridge, kitchen sink smelled like sewer, and bathroom in complete disarray. Lightbulbs not placed in fan or ceilings. Ceiling painted over. The realtor said everything would be renovated and fixed by move in date of June 1st but then she said the person currently living there won’t be moving out until end of the month. So basically, they expect to turn this whole place upside down and install new “granite countertops” per description during the one day before move in? I asked her if they would replace the fridge as shown in the pic and she said they would not if it was still working. Um, the fridge smelled like trash and had huge stains that didn’t seem to be cleanable. Description of property was misleading and I wasted $12 in Lyft to waste my time.

     Management

    Manager showed up on time, but did not have the keys to laundry facilities and did not know about the disarrayed state of the apartment that was to be leased until that day. They admitted they didn’t know how bad it was until today. However, they played along and did not seem to tell me that until I proved them and said this property looked nothing like the pictures posted on the website or sounded anything like the description at all. Also lied to me about when the place would be move in ready (claimed everything would be renovated by june 1st, but the current tenant would not be moving out until end of May) - by the way, she kept changing her answers and it wasn’t until I spelled it out for her that she said it would be mid June. Property manager was obviously trying to get sell this property ASAP and did not care about future tenants. also knocked in a current occupants door to let her into the laundry room - howcan you bother your tenants like that for your own lack of preparation? I wouldn’t want to live here.
