    So I find the apartment in the ad, I have to take the train to view the apartment and hunt down the super so he can show me the apartment. Please explain to me why the person on the other line is asking for a month and a a half broker fees, when he did NOTHING to help me find this. While I understand brokers need an income, it is ridiculous that they ask for so much when not only do they provide zero service, they are liars, rude, unresponsive and disrespectful !!! NO ONE can afford to gift away that amount of money, and it's no wonder lots of apartments have been on the market for so many months. Additionally there is a months deposit and first months rent, background and credit check fees...In other words I'm doing all of the internet search, writing to the landlords and making calls in addition to all of the physical footwork and while this individual sits on their a** doing basically nada he wants to receive a git of almost $2,000 of what I worked all year for
