Hey! My name is Tiffany and I hope to be your new landlord. I am offering a private bedroom in a 3 bedroom apartment. You will share the common areas as well as the bathroom with housemate(s). While this is a roommate situation, the lease terms are flexible, and you will sign a lease with me independent of your housemate. Utilities are managed by me and will be split evenly. The apartment is currently empty. It can be rented semi-furnished as pictured, or unfurnished.
About the Apartment:
The rooms are spacious and the floor plan is ideal-this is not a shotgun! Once you enter the front door you proceed up a stately wooden staircase. You enter into a large living and dining room area with a study/sunroom off to the right. A hallway leads to the bedrooms, bathroom and kitchen. There are wood and tile floors, blinds on all windows and ceiling fans with light kits throughout. Energy efficient window unit ACs and gas heat keep things comfortable. The kitchen has vintage style cabinetry, old school tile counters with porcelain sink. The attic has been insulated for energy efficiency. There is a large front and back yard, which provides lots of gardening potential. At the end of the private multi-car driveway there is a large storage shed that houses washer and dryer that is included. It must be seen in person to experience the awesome feeling of home this place exudes.
About the Landlord:
My husband and I live close by and run a mom and pop-style property management company. We pride ourselves on well managed and maintained properties that have lots of character and comforts. All of our units are pet friendly and places we have lived or would live ourselves. We take great care of our tenants
About the Neighborhood:
The location is close to everything - Downtown, Lakefront, Mid-city, Bywater, French Quarter, Metairie you name it. We call this part of Gentilly the best kept secret. This area also offers strong community, historic architecture and lots of local eateries and shopping.
