Property manager got back to me quickly. Ad was misleading though. It wasn't specified that this rental is for one room in a 3 bedroom townhome. The property itself was dirty. It was listed as furnished but that's because there was a dresser in each room, no bed, nothing else (and I definitely have too much stuff to rent a single room and have someone else's dresser in it). The rooms are tiny, and they are carpeted, and the carpet is dirty. The bathroom was dirty. The kitchen was dirty. The place was disgusting. I've never seen an apartment that looked so nice on the outside and so disgusting on the inside. I found an entire bachelor basement apartment, newly renovated, hydro and parking included in the price, for $1300. This property was for a single bedroom and a shared bathroom. No. The property manager had her friend show me the rental. Her friend didn't speak English well, so she couldn't answer any of the questions about this place. The listing says that as a tenant I would have access to "All limelight building club amenities" but this place was too disgusting for that to make up for anything. I also wasn't shown any of these promised amenities. If I was a property manager I would be ashamed to show this property. It was too disgusting, unkempt, dirty, filled with clutter, pots and pans all over the downstairs, smelly carpet, unimpressive and definitely not worthy of $1400/mo.
