Beautiful, unique, private waterfront house over Corte Madera creek, one mile from the Bay. Built in 1910 and updated throughout with vaulted ceilings, cedar walls, and heated floors, this is my favorite place I've ever lived. For the right person or couple, this will be your peaceful waterfront paradise with gorgeous Tam views, space for entertaining, private access to the creek...it truly feels like vacation every day. Both bedrooms fit queen beds, though they're on the cozy side--this is a good home for one bedroom and one guest room/home office. You're trading some indoor space for dock access, 360 degree water views, and a huge deck that looks directly at Mt. Tam. And spotting ducks, geese, otters, seals, and rays is a daily pleasure. Your private deck is ~550 square feet with plenty of storage for your SUPs, kayak, canoe, inner tube float, etc. The neighbors are all fantastic; we get together to swim/float/paddle in the creek. And a surprising note re: weather--if you haven't spent time in this microclimate, it's ideal. I work all over the Bay Area and this square mile or so is rarely too warm (cooler than San Rafael & Novato), never too cold (warmer than Mill Valley, parts of Corte Madera, Larkspur, Kentfield), always has a refreshing breeze, and is almost always sunny. The fog stops about a half mile west of here. Lucky Drive is part of a network of bike routes, so you can walk or bike within 10 minutes to: - Larkspur ferry to SF, express buses up and down highway 101 - Trader Joe's, BevMo - Mollie Stone, Gott's, etc. in Bon Air Plaza - Many restaurants, shops, UPS Store, Safeway in Corte Madera Town Center - Downtown Larkspur in/around Magnolia...so Perry's, Left Bank, etc. - Lots more! Features: - Heated floors in both bedrooms, kitchen, and the full bathroom - Beautiful cedar walls - In-unit regular-size washer & dryer - Off-street, dedicated parking for 1-2 vehicles - Access to the private dock to launch your various water toys or just jump in the creek. The water quality regularly tests as quite good. - Outdoor shower on your deck Details & fine print: - Available immediately, with a flexible move-in date. Initial six month lease with option to renew into a one year lease in the spring/summer. - Pets negotiable--I love animals but want to make sure they're a good fit for a somewhat unique property. - Unfurnished, though armoires/wardrobes and a few other items could be included since they fit well. - Four storage sheds included: three on deck, one along the path (typically for bikes) - Owner pays trash/recycling/compost, you pay water & gas + electric on your own meters.

Zip code 94904 covers Greenbrae and Kentfield along the Corte Madera Creek, where sunny, Mediterranean days and Mt. Tamalpais foothill views set a calm, outdoorsy tone. Recent Zillow Rental Market Trends show a median rent around the mid-$4,000s, with most leases ranging roughly $3,000–$6,500+ depending on size and location. Commuters appreciate quick access to Highway 101 and Golden Gate Transit, with the Larkspur Ferry minutes away. Life centers on Bon Air Center's groceries (Mollie Stone's), cafes (Peet's, Gott's Roadside), fitness studios, and everyday services, plus Woodlands Market near the College of Marin. Trails thread Baltimore Canyon and the Corte Madera Creek path for hiking, biking, and paddling; the Marin Rowing Association and local SUP spots keep water lovers busy. MarinHealth Medical Center anchors a strong local services scene. Evenings are low-key—think wine bars and neighborhood restaurants—while weekend farmers markets and nearby Marin Country Mart add variety. The area skews professional and family oriented, is very pet friendly, and favors quiet streets, green spaces, and an active, community-forward lifestyle.
