    THE BUILDING: The Hellman Building was constructed in 1902 on the former site of Herman Hellman's one story cottage at the corner of South Main and 4th Street. It's a six story structure features green terra cotta and classical details representative of commercial architecture in the early 20th century. When it was built, it was the largest steel frame building in Los Angeles. The ground floor is home to several art galleries, a local market, restaurants and a cupcake shop! This was the first adaptive reuse apartment conversion in Los Angeles. We welcome Pets and Pet Owners, we DO NOT charge a PET DEPOSIT or PET RENT! PARKING: Parking for residents is available for $200/month for a single unreserved space, $250/month for a single reserved space and $350/month for tandem-reserved parking. The garage has an extensive camera system on all floors, entrance / exit and common areas. - Energy Star Appliances included: gas range, refrigerator, dishwasher, and garbage disposal. (There are washer/dryers on each floor of the building). - Night Patrol from dusk until dawn, daily - Controlled Access to all buildings
