About our home: Quiet, nonsmoking two unit owner-occupied building on well-maintained block in the Park South neighborhood. Walking distance to Lark, Empire State Plaza and Albany Med. As owners live upstairs, they will be attentive to the building and residents needs. No pets (we have an older dog that likes her alone time and rules the yard). Equipped with smoke & carbon monoxide detectors and fire extinguishers for each floor. Holds a current (issued April 2019) ROP from the city of Albany. Parking is on-street, with a city residential permit (Zone A), and we never have problems finding spots.
About the apartment: Apartment is junior one-bedroom English basement. Enter from your own front door and have access to the yard through your own sliding glass doors. Clean, new bathroom and sizeable kitchen. Two large rooms in addition to the kitchen, one for living and one a great bedroom. Good closet space and new wood floors throughout. Gorgeous fireplace mantle (not operational) in one of the rooms and windows facing the street for lots of natural light, with custom shutters for privacy. Central air with separate climate controls.
About the process: There will be a $35 application fee to cover the costs of a credit, employment, and background check. We will conduct a thorough check because we want to cultivate a safe, warm, and trusting environment in our home. We hope you understand.
