This place was absolutely disgusting and the pictures of course are totally misleading. These are two rows of townhouses and when we pulled up to the row behind the area this one was located we counted no less than 3 mattresses discarded out on lawns randomly, there were kids toys all over the place and several people parked in the middle of front lawns despite there being parking spaces directly adjacent to the building. So we were put off by that because one would think this is an area where people don’t take care of their properties and we were right. When the leasing agent shows up, he opens the place and then just stood in the front room instead of showing us around. Upon looking around it appeared that someone updated the floors and the kitchen and then left everything else as is. The electrical outlets look like a fire hazard, there was mold on several shelves in closets, every room had some weird light switch cover that looked like an old lady previously lived there (or someone with extremely questionable taste). The toilet and the tub in the upstairs bathroom were disgusting (not even clean) and the laundry tub in the basement was so covered in filth you could barely tell what it was. The floor in the upstairs bedroom is slanted (or sinking, we couldn’t tell) it squeaked, and the window seemed like it was open even though it was not. The furnace looked old and the place was overall just disgusting. When I left, I wanted to drink a bottle of hand sanitizer and burn my clothes it was THAT bad. The owner wants a 640 credit score to lease this property and they really should be looking for someone with no credit because anyone in their right mind would not want to live in that dump. I have to say I am disappointed that I found this property on Zillow because I thought that maybe you guys screened people who posted so this doesn’t happen. I am seriously considering calling the county housing authority on these people as no one should have to live in those conditions.
