This 786 sq ft furnished guesthouse offers the perfect blend of serenity and modern comfort. It's ideal for singles, couples, or a small family. It is especially well-suited for traveling healthcare professionals, remote workers, contract workers in Richmond, or anyone relocating or navigating a life transition.
Start your mornings with coffee on the expansive screened-in porch overlooking the garden and rolling valley. Deer often wander through at sunrise and sunset, adding to the calm, nature-immersed experience.
Inside, the living room features an Albany Park faux-leather sofa, two swivel chairs, and a beautiful live-edge coffee table. The thoughtfully stocked kitchen has everything you need to cook full meals, enjoyed best in the charming built-in booth. Nearby, a cozy nook offers a 32" smart TV and an inviting daybed with a Helix Midnight Luxe twin mattress perfect for lounging or an afternoon nap.
The primary bedroom is designed with rest in mind, complete with a Nectar queen bed, blackout curtains, built-in dresser and closet, bedside shelves with USB/outlet lamps, and both a full-length mirror and a large dresser mirror. The Jack-and-Jill bathroom connects the bedroom to a private office, which features a stunning solid-wood Crate & Barrel desk an inspiring spot for work, journaling, or quiet reflection.
Please note: There is a washer in dryer on site, but not in the unit. It is in another garage close by, and you are welcome to use it. Also, we have a second guesthouse, The Bohive, that is a short-term rental. You will likely see guests during your stay. They are allowed to bring up to 2 pets.
**Please inquire if you are interested in both guesthouses together! Great for a larger family or multiple professionals in town that would each like their own private space.

- All utilities - including high-speed wifi - are included.
- One pet (cat or small dog) allowed. Pet fee is $100 per month. Nonaggressive dog breeds only. Must be well-behaved, quiet, and calm around other animals and guests (including babies and children). There is no fenced in yard. Dogs must stay on a leash while outside. Please pick up dog poo.
- There may be other guests staying at our 2nd guesthouse, The Bohive. These guesthouses are separate buildings but share the common fire-pit area. Please be respectful of other guests.
- The guesthouse is located on a private nature reserve. There are wild animals that live on and visit the property, including deer, foxes, turtles, snakes, birds, bees, etc. They keep their distance and we ask that you keep yours. Please do not feed the animals.
- If you are not a fan of wildlife, or if you are highly allergic to bees, this might not be the place for you. By booking the guesthouse, you are agreeing to book at your own risk. The property owners/hosts are in no way liable for any harm that might occur.
- No smoking whatsoever inside the guesthouse or on the guesthouse porch. Feel free to smoke by the fire pit or in the valley. If there is any evidence or smell of smoke in the guesthouse when you depart, there will be a $100 fee charged.
- Only approved guests on the official reservation are allowed at the property during your reservation. No outside guests allowed unless approved by the hosts.
- While all electrical and mechanical equipment within the Property are in good working order, Owners cannot guarantee against mechanical failure of electrical service, stopped plumbing, water supply, heating, air conditioning, audio visual equipment, internet access, cable service, or appliances. Guest agrees to report any inoperative equipment or other maintenance problem to Owners immediately. Owners will make every reasonable effort to have repairs done quickly and efficiently. Guest will allow Owners or a person permitted by Owners access to the Property for purposes of repair and inspection.
- To protect the property and avoid excessive utility usage, cryptocurrency mining and the use of high-powered electrical equipment (such as mining rigs, servers, or industrial machines) is strictly prohibited. Violation of this rule may result in additional charges and immediate cancellation of your reservation.
- RELEASE OF LIABILITY - HOLD HARMLESS AGREEMENT Lessee(s) shall indemnify and hold harmless the Lessor / Property Owner / Host, free and harmless from any and all liability, claims, loss, damages, demands or expenses, including counsel fees and costs, arising (a) by reason of accident, injury, illness or death of any person or animal, including Lessee, pets, or any person who is a guest or invitee of Lessee, or (b) by reason of damage to or destruction of any property, including property owned by Lessee or any person who is a guest or invitee of Lessee, caused or allegedly caused by (1) any cause whatsoever while that person or property is in or about the Property or in any way connected with the Property during Lessee's occupancy; or (2) any matter connected with Lessee's occupation and use of the Property.
