This standalone backyard casita built around a large oak is a unique space for the someone hat doesn't mind a smaller home.. It's roughly 430 sq ft with vaulted 15 ft ceiling in the main area, white oak floors and tons of natural window light. The kitchen is petite but functional with an induction cook top and standalone small oven / microwave on an island cart (all optional), and lots of high cabinets and a large closet for storage . A Mini split and a wall unit provide AC and heat and have done well in summer and winter extremes the last 5 years. The unit is linked with the main house power (with it's own breaker box) / water so there is a monthly bill share of $135 for electricity, water, trash, sewer, and 300Mb wireless mesh internet. While the casita is fully standalone with it's own locks and dedicated outdoor space, the neighborhood zoning of the property makes the lease officially a property sharing agreement to fit into the single family + 1 additional person residency regulations, so it is limited to a single individual. no dogs allowed, cats ok. 1 or 2 year lease available and happy to have a longer term tenant. Currently doing touch up work and finishing cleaning out, but should be ready for move in on the 1st, possibly sooner if needed. Water, electrical, trash, sewer, wireless internet (300Mb service) are paid by owner and covered by $135 flat fee. Tenant will be expected to wash the AC filters monthly.
