Lake Lotela is an 800+ acre sandy bottom RECREATIONAL lake. (Swimming, fishing, boating, skiing, wake boarding) 81 other lakes in Highlands County! We are a fisherman's paradise! Highlands Hammock State Park is 12 miles. Convenient to local hospitals, Nucor, South Florida State College, and other Highlands County businesses. Also, the perfect spot for remote work. About 1.5 hrs to beaches, Tampa, and Orlando, yet away from the traffic and hustle bustle of those areas. Unit #3 is expected to be available Nov 1, 2025 . (Call to confirm date.) It is a smaller 1/1 with queen bed in the bedroom and a queen sleeper sofa in the living room. Perfect for a single or couple, corporate rental, or those with extended visits to the area. All units are fully furnished and well maintained. Pricing varies depending on how we structure contract. Price quoted is for a typical ANNUAL Agreement, but as stated, we do offer shorter term options. Additional info on lease terms and length of stay- We DO NOT offer nightly, weekly or monthly rentals. All guests are credit/background checked and on contracts. Our focus is 6+months rentals/annual rentals. But we can also accommodate 3-6 months rentals if we have availability. As noted above, the price quoted of $1400 is our ANNUAL rental price that includes wi-fi, water, gas (for water heater) garbage. Elec is in guests name on annual contracts.
