It is located next to the Bayshore Gardens Park and Recreation District, which has picnic tables, sports facilities, a playground, and bay access. Other nearby attractions include the De Soto Heritage Festival, the Riverwalk (Downtown Bradenton), a 1.5-mile scenic path along the Manatee River, a public boat dock, an amphitheater and a family-fun zone with a splash pad. Sarasota-Bradenton International Airport is just 4.5 miles away. Quiet hours are from 10:00 PM to 8:00 AM.
