This is the upper level of a reconstructed (2017) servant's quarters in the back garden of a house in the Bayou St. John (Parkview, to be precise) neighbourhood. The property is completely separate from the main house, with a second flat below. Access is from a gate beside the house, and a staircase. The flat is about 500 square feet, with a bedroom, bathroom (shower), and living/dining/kitchen area. The flat is fully furnished, with linens, towels, kitchen equipment, and a washer dryer. We're a 5-minute walk to the Blue Oak BBW, and the N. Carrollton at Dumaine streetcar stop. Rouses is a 10min walk, Winn Dixie is 13 minutes, and Whole Foods is 24 minutes. There are air conditioning (and heating) splits above the bed in the bedroom, and in the kitchen / living area We live in the main house on Roosevelt Place. The owner pays for water, sewage, and hot water. The renter pays for all other electricity. There is no gas. Parking is on the street. Internet (AT&T fiber over Eero Mesh) is included The lease will be 1 year. The tenant is responsible for leaving the flat in the condition they received it, subject to normal wear and tear.
